Blaupunkt India Launched Tokyo 110 and Manchester 110

Blaupunkt India, a known brand for making expensive and premium car infotainment and sound today launched two new car stereos for the Indian market which are targeted towards the middle class audience, named as Tokyo 110 and Manchester 110.

The models fulfill basic needs of a car audio system, having features such as a reliable car radio with quality tuner performance, clear sound, AM/FM with RDS, great connectivity with external media devices (USB, SD and Aux). Though Blaupunkt has entered late in this price and feature segment of market, they have a unique feature which is the SD card input. Competition at this price point doesn’t provide SD card input, so this is something which sets the Tokyo 110 and Manchester 110 apart from other systems.

Major difference between the Tokyo 110 and Manchester 110 is that Manchester 110 comes with a CD input mechanism whereas Tokyo 110 doesn’t have a CD input mechanism. Though lack of the CD mechanism makes Tokyo 110 more compact at the back.

Even though the models are priced at Rs. 4,990 for Tokyo 110 and Rs. 5,990 for Manchester 110, they still deliver the Blaupunkt promise in terms of quality sound experience, clean lines and styling and great performance, as a result of German engineering and the highest quality standards.

With Tokyo and Manchester, Blaupunkt has once again demonstrated its ability to provide unmatched value across its product portfolio, be it in the high-end multimedia navigation space, sound solutions or with low priced single din radios like these. After a phenomenal response worldwide, we expect these products to be very successful in the Indian market. These models raise the bar on value, while lowering the price point for a quality car radio, allowing a larger segment of customers to enjoy Blaupunkt’s signature sound.

Blaupunkt also has plans for Car systems with Android OS and also systems with built in speakers, so one wouldn’t have to worry about buying a speaker system. Keep reading for future releases from Blaupunkt.
