Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite Announced: Sports an 8mp front camera,2GB RAM

Lenovo has today announced the launch of a new Smartphone, namely, the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite. The said phone is expected to go on sale in early 2016. More technical information about the phone is expected to be released by Lenovo in CES 2016.The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is the toned down version of Vibe S1 which was launched by the Chinese company last year. The Vibe S1 Lite is priced at $199.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite will be available in Blue and White colours. It features a 5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display, same as the Vibe S1. The handset is powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor. In terms of memory, the Smartphone sports 2GB of RAM. It can be remembered that the Vibe S1 came with a 64-bit 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and also supports dual-SIM dual standby. The handset comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage which can b expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The Vibe S1 Lite comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera comes which has a dual-tone LED flash, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), and BSI sensor. The highlight of the Vibe S1 Lite is however the 8-megapixel front-facing camera which comes with an LED flash.

The dimensions of the Vibe S1 lite are 145x71x8.5mm, and weight is 129 grams. The connectivity options include 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, and Micro-USB. The Smartphone is fuelled by a 2700mAh battery. The Vibe S1 Lite launch was first reported by Android World.

Lenovo, ahead of CES 2016, unveiled several new devices which included12 new laptops, an all-in-one system, a tablet, a monitor, two 2-in-1 laptops, two ThinkCentre-in-one systems, a new budget laptop with Chrome OS and Windows 10 variants.
