Nokia Asha design change images leaked
We can see that since iPhone and Android, market is getting harder for Nokia’s Symbian phones. To come back in market again, Nokia needs a gamechanger idea and with recent leaked images (posted by @evleaks), Nokia has something big planned with their Asha series of devices.
Seems like Nokia is following Lumia series designs to make Asha phones, and actully the UI of the OS also looks similar to Lumia series Windows Phones.
- Pics shows that the design is clearly Lumia styled, from the Camera placement, body type is similar to Lumia phones.
- UI elements also seems to be similar to Windows Phones. Status bar icons, fonts are similar.
- Camera seems like a 5 Megapixel shooter along with flash.
- Top has a small pin charging port, Universal Data synching port and 3.5mm headphone jack.
- Phones come in Bold colors like Red, Yellow, Green, Blue.
- Lockscreen is almost similar to Windows Phones.
- Volume rockers and Power/wake key is placed on Right side.
- Seems like they have touch capacitive buttons on some Asha series phones(as in above picture), while some seems to have a normal button.
- Music player UI and call UI seem to be preety much same as the old ones.
Nokia is expected to reveal these phones at MWC 2013 with new Lumia 520 and 720 whose images were also leaked by @evleaks. Hopefully these devices will intent to target people with low budget, so that Nokia can once again gain some market share!
